(E-SKRIPSI) USING TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE STORYTELLING (TPRS) ASSISTED WITH OPEN TEACHER SOFTWARE FOR STUDENTS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION TO IMPROVE ENGLISH VOCABULARY MASTERY AT SMALB-C NEGRI KOTA METRO
This research is aimed to know the using total physical response storytelling (TPRS)
assisted with open teacher software for students with mental retardation to improve
English vocabulary mastery. The students’ development in vocabulary mastery
improved after using TPRS assisted with open teacher software as a media. By the
method of TPRS the researcher also used open teacher software as a media. This
research was qualitative method using observation and interview. The subject of the
research consisted of 4 students of grade twelve of mental retardation in SMALB-C
Negeri Kota Metro.
The result showed that TPRS assisted with open teacher software was good to
improve the students’ vocabulary mastery.
